Boil the skull for three to four hours

STEP 2:  BOILING

Once you have your outdoor burner hooked up to the propane tank and the water starts to boil, place your skull in the cooking pot for three to four hours. You will most likely need to add water a few times during the process to ensure the skull remains submerged. If pieces of the skull become detached during this process, do not panic and keep on boiling them. Typically, those will be nasal cavity bones, and they can be reattached later after bleaching the skull.
