While working for one month at Ontario’s Naotkamegwanning First Nation last May, first-year medical student Emily Pinn caught this smallmouth bass on her first cast. She and classmate Kelvi Toskovich were fishing with elder Roland White at his secret spot on Lake of the Woods.
