Anniversary this year of Quebec’s famed sportfishing destination Beauchêne Wilderness Lodge, also known as La Réserve Beauchêne. Built in 1924 by Kentucky whisky baron Lawrence Jones, the “White House” main lodge is the hub of the 205.7-square-kilometre reserve, which features 40-plus fish-filled lakes.
